On the 8th at SWKA Championship Show, judge Dr R James awarded Rudie 2nd in Post Graduate Dog, Ouija 2nd in Post Graduate Bitch & Rio bearly with any clothes, Reserve Open Bitch.

Midland Counties Championship Show on the 27th held at Stafford saw some nice results for the team. Rudie 2nd Post Graduate Dog & Ouija 1st Yearling Bitch thanks to judge Hedd Richards.


The first show this month is City of Birmingham Championship Show on the 2nd. Judge Marion Sargent placed Rudie 2nd in Post Graduate Dog & Ouija again won her Yearling Bitch class.

At Richmond Championship Show on the 9th both Rudie & Ouija won their Post Graduate classes.

Very long journey on the 16th to Darlington Championship Show under breed specialist Mike John where both Rudie & Ouija were level pegging again matching each other in Post Graduate with Reserve placings.

This year the AMCUK Champ Show was judged by a French breed specialist on the 23rd, where Rudie was 2nd in a very large Post Graduate Dog class & half sisters Ouija & Voodoo both were placed pole position in their classes, Ouija 1st Yearling Bitch & Voo 1st Mid Limit Bitch.

Quite an emotional day finally being able to hand out Mums memorial trophy for the July club show to Lisa Mort & her girl Echo.

Another trip north for Driffield on the 28th under judge Veronica Avory where both Rudie & Ouija are placed 2nd today.


On the 13th we made the long & very hot journey to Bournemouth Championship Show where our team of two both win their classes. Rudie was placed 1st in a huge quality Post Graduate Dog class & Ouija won her Yearling Bitch class thanks to judge Keith Baldwin.

At Paignton Champ show on the 4th August under breed specialist Avril Roper, we had some amazing results with our two dog show team on the day seeing both Rudie & Ouija being placed pole position in their Post Graduate classes.


This months showing starts off at Windsor with their annual Champ show with judge Robin Newhouse. Rudie is placed 2nd in Post Grad & Voodoo is placed VHC in Limit.

East of England was a fabulous show with a great atmosphere & great results for our team too. Firstly, Rudie wins a great Post Graduate Dog class then Voodoo wins Limit Bitch, her 3rd in as many weeks & goes on to be awarded the RESERVE BITCH CC!!!! Huge thanks to Robin Searle our judge on the day we are over the moon - way to go Voo!!!!!!!

Lapema Garoto Rude

NW&PBs Champ on the 15th under judge Derek Smith, despite my tumble in the ring, Rudie wins Graduate Dog.

Two shows held on the 16th, the second AMCUK club open show of the year where Rudie is placed RES & over at Evesham & District Voodoo in placed RES under judge Maggi Bryant & Rudie wins Post Graduate under breed specialist Lauren Perfitt & ultimately RESERVE BEST OF BREED.

We camped over at Malvern with the furkids & enjoyed a lovely BBQ with friends in conjuction with the new breed club the Alaskan Malamute Association. The dogs had an amazing time with us.

Leeds Champ show was another wet one but great results again thanks to judge Steve Myring seeing Rudie take 3rd in Graduate & Ouija back out for the first time in 2 months due to coat, wins Graduate!


The first show for us this month is just for us & the boy Rudie due to lack of coat & seasons in the other members of our show team. Three Counties champ on the 10th under breed specialist where Rudie flying solo takes 2nd place in Post Graduate.

Another long trek to Border Union champ show held at Kelso on the 18th. Rudie is placed 2nd in Post Graduate & Voodoo wins Limit Bitch in great competition. Thanks to breed specialist judge Jo Sugden.

A very wet Blackpool Champ show on the 25th where despite being in a very crowded wet weather tent for the whole of judging, Rudie places 2nd in Post Graduate & Voodoo wins Limit Bitch under judge Noel Melling.


At Marlborough Open show on the 1st Ouija wins Open, Rudie is placed 2nd & Voodoo 3rd.

Another lovely day of results at Birmingham National  on the 6th. Judge Keith Nathan awards Rudie 1st in Yearling. Ouija wins all 4 classes she was entered into, Voodoo is placed 2nd in Limit & Rio 2nd in Open.

We made the very long journey to Scottish Kennel Club on the 21st but thrilled with our results. Rudie wins Yearling, Voodoo was placed VHC in Limit, Rio VHC in Open. The superstar of the day was Ouija who won both her Junior & Yearling classes which gains her final points for her JUNIOR WARRANT!!!!! Thanks to breed specialist Chris John. Over the moon, well worth the trip!!

The Alaskan Malamute Club of the UK held their first club open show for this year on the 27th with both judges being breed specialists. Under dog judge Anna Ballington Graham, Rudie was placed 2nd in Yearling & over in the bitch ring under judge Anne Nevinson Rio & Rio were placed 2nd in their classes & Ouija exceeded all expectations in her 'underwear' by winning Junior, Yearling & Post Graduate then going on to be awarded BEST JUNIOR IN SPECIALITY SHOW!!!

Second show for this weekend was Bath Champ show on the 28th under judge Graham Hill. Love this venue it's probably our favourite, good results for us too. Ouija is placed 3rd in her classes, Voodoo RES in Limit, Rio VHC in Open & Rudie wins Novice.



Fab day at Pontypool Open show on the 4th, in the Labrador ring, Doris won her Graduate class under judge Jan James. Then later in the Malamute ring under judge Denise Pye, Rudie is placed 3rd in Graduate, Voodoo is placed 2nd & Ouija wins both her classes & takes BEST OF BREED with a lovely WORKING GROUP 2!

W&PBs of Wales Champ show on the 15th under judge Caroline Friend Rees. Rudie wins his Post Graduate class, Ouija is placed 1st in her Novice class & Voodoo is placed 2nd in Open Bitch behind the bitch cc record holder.

WOW WHAT A DAY!!!! Leominster Open show on the 23rd starts off pretty uneventful then firstly we take a lovely 2nd with Rosie in Open over at the Labrador ring under judge J.Thomas. Then in the Malamute ring, a change of judge gives us Terrier judge Marion Reeve, where Ouija wins all 3 classes, then goes on to win BEST OF BREED automatically WORKING GROUP 1 seeing her able to strut her stuff in the ring later that day against all other group winners for judge Howard Ogden, where she is awarded BEST IN SHOW!!!!!!!!!! Not only this but today gives Ouija her final points needed for her SHOW CERTIFICATE OF MERIT show award. So so proud!

On the 28th, a nice close show at Malvern for WELKS under judge Jeff Luscott where Ouija wins her Novice class, Rudie wins his Yearling class, Voodoo is placed RESERVE in Limit & Rio VHC in Open.


This months mayhem started at Swindon Open show on the 4th. Ouija wins Junior, Post Grad & Open then automatically winning BEST OF BREED then placed WORKING GROUP 2 under judge Colin Woodward. Rudie was placed 2nd in Post Grad & Open, then RESERVE BEST OF BREED. Voodoo took 3rd in both classes.

Due to coats & seasons we only took one Malamute to CRUFTS this year. Ouija was placed very respectfully in both her Junior & Yearling classes with RESERVE place. Thanks to breed specialist Barbara Stanier.

A little trip north today for Retford Open show held at Newark. Breed specialist Mark Plummer placed Ouija, Rudie & Voodoo 3rd in all their classes. Rosie was the superstar of the day under Labrador breed specialist Elaine Young, where she won a very nice Open class.


Another heavy month of showing started on the 4th at Rugby Open show where again we attended with both breeds. Most success in the Malamute ring under judge Russell Jones where Ouija wins her Junior class, Rudie wins his Post Graduate class & Voodoo wins her Open class seeing all 3 of our kids entered in the challenge. Rudie was then awarded BEST OF BREED. Rosie was place 2nd & RESERVE BEST OF BREED in the Labrador classes under judge Phil Goodall

Fabulous entry at NW&PBs Open show on the 11th under breed specialist Char John with our team having another weekend of lovely results. Ouija wins 2 classes, Rudie is placed 3rd in Post Graduate handled by Mike & Voodoo wins Open then takes BEST OF BREED!

On the 18th we attended Gloucester Open show, again with both breeds. In the Malamute ring under judge Chris Roberts, Ouija is placed 2nd in Junior & 3rd in Post Grad. Voodoo wins Open & Rudie wins Post Grad then he takes BEST OF BREED then WORKING GROUP 3 under group judge Steve Myring. Rosie is placed 3rd in Open under Labrador judge Neil Straw.

Another breed specialist for us with the Malamutes at Cheltenham & District on the 26th with judge Simon Molloy. Ouija is placed 2nd in Junior, Rudie wins Post Graduate & Voodoo takes 2nd in Open, with Rudie taking BEST OF BREED for the 3rd time this month!!! Rosie was placed a very good 2nd in her Open class under Labrador judge Gavin Robertson.


On the 14th we had a nice day out with friends at Worcester & Malvern Open show with both Labradors & Malamutes. Firstly, under judge Kirstie Forster, Ouija was placed 2nd in a huge quality Junior class, Voodoo was 2nd in Open & Rudie, handled by Mike, won his Post Graduate class & then awarded Reserve Best Of Breed. Then after a mammoth wait, over in the Labrador ring, Rosie was placed 2nd in Open under judge Lisa Finney.

Manchester Champ show on the 21st for the Malamutes under judge Tom Johnson where Ouija was placed RES in her Junior Bitch class out of a very big entry.

Cardiff Open show was held on the 29th where we had some good results for the Malamutes, seeing Rudie win Post Graduate & RESERVE BEST OF BREED, Voodoo 2nd in Open & Ouija 3rd in Junior under judge F.Wilkes. 

First show for the brand new year sees us travel to Boston Championship show where all our team were in the cards under Siberian specialist Sarah Robinson. Rudie was placed RES in a large Junior Dog class, baby Ouija also RES in her Puppy Bitch class & Rio at her first champ show in 6 months was placed 3rd in Open Bitch. Well done to all others placed today.
